Location

Villa Tolomei Hotel & Resort is located about 3.5 km from Florence Santa Maria Novella train station. You can reach us using public transport: take bus no. 36, 37, or 11 to the “Porta Romana” stop, then bus no. 42 from “San Giusto della Calza” to “Marignolle Piana”, right in front of the hotel entrance. Alternatively, a taxi service is available, with a journey time of approximately 10 minutes.

From the north, take the Firenze Scandicci exit, follow the Firenze–Pisa–Livorno road and continue along Viale Etruria toward the city centre. From the south, take the Firenze Impruneta exit and continue along Via Senese. Once you reach Piazzale di Porta Romana, take Via Ugo Foscolo and continue along Via Santa Maria a Marignolle — you’ll find Villa Tolomei 800 metres ahead, on your right.
The drive from the highway exit takes about 15 minutes. If you're using a GPS, we recommend entering “Via Santa Maria a Marignolle 10”, with an intermediate stop at “Piazzale di Porta Romana” to avoid very narrow side streets.

Peretola Airport is located about 8 km away. You can take the tram to Santa Maria Novella station (departures every 5 minutes), followed by a short taxi ride to the hotel. Alternatively,a direct taxi from the airport takes about 20 minutes.

Bologna Airport - Guglielmo Marconi is about 117 km away. You can reach Florence by train: first take the Marconi Express (departures every 5 minutes) to Bologna Centrale station, then the Frecciarossa or Italo high-speed train, which will take you to Santa Maria Novella station in less than 40 minutes. Alternatively, you can reach Florence by bus with the Appennino Shuttle (departures every 2 hours) to the "Firenze-Fortezza" stop in Piazzale Montelungo. From either the train station or Piazzale Montelungo, you can take a taxi, which will bring you to Villa Tolomei in about 10 minutes.
